Minecraft Pyramids!

As Part of my project, i am rebuilding the great pyramids in Minecraft.So far i have only constructed the smallest pyramid. It is modelled off of the smallest pyramid in the Great pyramids, the pyramid of Menkaure. I have plans for all three pyramids, and the size is based off of the real pyramids, but scaled down to about half. The largest pyramid is Khufu's pyramid,230 metres to a side, so for Minecraft i have scaled it down to 100 blocks(a block in Minecraft is 1m, by 1m, by 1m) a side. Then there's Khafre's Pyramid, 215 metres to a side. It becomes 90 blocks to a side. And the one i constructed, Menkaure's pyramid, is a trifling 103 metres to a side, so it becomes 50 blocks to a side. Anyway, here are the pictures !!!

New Project!

Today i started a new project on ancient Egypt! My aims for this project are

-To study the Pyramids and see why they lasted so long.

-To learn about hieroglyphics

-Do some creative writing on Ancient Egyptian mythology

-To study the Pharaohs

-To study Egypt's relations with its neighbours

-To find out what was unique about Egypt

-To make a program related to Egypt

-And to recreate the great pyramids in Minecraft
